You don't need a car, just walk through the streets of the city visiting the main attractions such as the colonial style church of Banos, you will be amazed with its interior murals and the decoration of its roof.
A few steps from the church is the famous waterfall of the Virgin which is known as the Water of Life by the long-lived people, this waterfall is the only one located in the centre of Baños.

Baños de Agua Santa is a small town so you'll find everything in the centre and getting to the attractions can take 10-15 minutes. Don't worry about getting lost because it's easy to find your way along the main street.
It is not necessary to hire a guide, you can buy a map at one of the agencies located in the city centre. They will help you with information about extra details that can be useful for your tour.
